Ok after having had a little think about this exercise and after receiving some feedback to help think more in detail about what to write  I think that I have found a few people that have inspired me to learn more about some of the Art's I am interested in:

Hans Zimmer:

The first person that I would like to talk  little about is HANS ZIMMER, born in Germany Hans become involved with music from an early due to a personal tragedy, so because of this he threw himself into the music world and found that he had become really passionate about it. He worked with a band called The Buggles which play Rock and Pop music ( this type/ genre of music is called a New Wave) murged together a
nd began just by playing the key board, this band was formed in 1977. From here he began working and joining different bands to get the experience of playing with them.
He started composing for the BBC for a program called ' Going For Gold'  which for him was something little compared to the dream he had of making it big so to speak, however it filled his time and he had fun while doing it. Composing was something he loved doing and because of his drive to make something of himself , he never gave up on it.
Composing for Hollywood is probably a dream come true for Hans, as this came about when being asked to compose a score for the file ' The Rain Man', how he got his inspiration to write a piece of music for the film let alone a whole score was by really connecting with the film and delving deep into the life of the characters to understand what they were all about. I think that this really helped him take off and he began composing for other films such as Gladiator, The Da Vinci Code, The Lion King,  The Dark Knight and many more. My personal favourite is Gladiator, I picked Hans Zimmer beacuse his music is beautiful the way he pharses a song is always an education and a thrill for me, as I have grown up listening to music or learning how to play a piece on the piano, listening to a piece of Hans music inspires to get out my manuscript and start composing myself the way he was always determined to make good muisc that everyone old or young could listen to and the drive he had to succeed makes me want to go out there and start teaching people how to play the piano or try and compose a piece of music for a small band that perhaps could lead me to greater things musically.

Gene Kelly:

Ok the next person that feel has inspired me to learn Dance is Gene Kelly, born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, he too also started at a young age to get involved with the Art's particular Dance.  Gene attended a Dance school at the age of eight however being young and being a boy he did not really enjoy his experience there and found that Dance was not for him I also think because he was bullied at school for dancing it made him not want to dance anymore. By the time he was fifteen he realised that dance does have its benefits as girls would be more inclined to talk to him if they saw him dancing so he carried on learning while still going to school, and even though he was achieving many things in school such as sports he found dance a way to release his stress from family and school.
Gene did attend high school and college but due to family finances Gene and his brother entered local competition's dancing away to win the prize money for the family. With the help of the family and the money that they had previously won Gene's family decided to open up a dance studio in the name of Gene and later branched out by opening a few more. At the dance studio/school Gene would help out by teaching dance which he enjoyed as well as fitting university into his daily life however going to uni and and studying law was not enough for Gene who really wanted to get out there and perform, so he decided to drop his degree and follow his heart and hunger for performing, he left everything behind to move to New York to try and get work as an Choreographer and Dancer.
Gene Kelly had many set backs whilst trying to aim high but his determination to succeed payed off when eventually he was able to choreograph to and dance to his choreography in the play ' Time Of Your Life ' because he was very successful from the play, it opened many doors for him and he began choreographing for more and more plays, this then lead him to Hollywood where he started to sing, dance and act in films, doing musical films was a big step for him as not many people had ever done that, a break through came when he won critical acclaim the work he had done for the film ' On The Town' where he brought musical theatre to live through film. Where he had teamed up with Frank Sinatra, an instant was this the choreography was of very high standard and his acting skill and singing skills had dramatically improved. The chemistry between all singers, dancer and actors was clear for all to see and I think this is where Gene might of felt like he had made it.
For me the thing that got me hooked on Gene was that fact that his dancing was impeccable his techniques are just flawless and he can inspire to just get up and dance. Although Gene used a lot of techniques for it was the way he would interpret these techniques into something quite spectacular and special and really made it his own. I like how he broke the mould for today's society in the way he brought musical theatre into film  which has allowed today's films like Grease, High School Musical, Hairspray, Moulin Rouge to even be considered to be made into film involving all the Arts to emerge together.

Michael Jackson:
The third person that I cannot wait to talk about is the one and only Michael Jackson, born in Indiana, Michael was one of ten children. His parents especially his dad was a very strict person following the religion of an Jehovah Witness. I think that because of this religion it provoked Jackson's dad to do the things he did. From an early Joe Jackson (Michael's dad) could see that Michael was a talented young boy and because of this decided to form the group/band named The Jackson Fives, this band was made up of all the Jackson brother's, with Tito playing the  Lead Guitar and Jermaine playing the Bass Guitar, while Marlon, Jackie and Michael sung and danced. Although the Jackson Five were talented it was Micheal that really stood out amongst them all and soon became the lead vocal for all there songs. The Jackson's worked hard as an band and it eventually paid off when they were signed to Motown Record's where they released many songs in fact they were the first group to have four number one's on the American Billboard these songs were, ABC, I Want you Back, I'll Be There and The Love You Save. The Jackson's continued to write good songs but it was still Michael that stood way above the rest.
Michael's love and passion for music just kept growing and so he decided to use his talent and begin a solo career his first album Off The Wall was an instant hit and so Michael's career was taking off, it was because of Off The Wall that Michael won his first grammy award. After this it seemed Michael could do no wrong and it was like everything he done turned to gold. Michael was the first person in history to break the mould for black entertainers to appear on Mtv which is where he first Billie Jean and where showcased his legendary dance The Moon walk. It was here that viewers began to see the real Michael what exactly he could do and my god was it fantastic. As a performer Michael could really hold the stage his singing was surperb and his dancing, well let's just say that nobody had ever come across his type of dancing, it was they way he was so sharp so perfect, how everything was in time exactly just everything really. For me like everyone else I think that the turning point for Michael Jackson was when he released his album Thriller, seeing the video that went with the song just made me want to dance I have always been more into my classical dance styles such as Ballet or Tap but after seeing the choreography in the Thriller video I wanted to learn more street dance/ pop dancing. Michael continued to release albums after albums and he won many awards for these he really was untouchable. It was mainly in the 80's when Michael was around more however his fans have always been loyal to him so when he decided to have a comeback tour called This is it, the fans were already cueing up for a ticket.
Michael inspires me because someone as big as himself can easily give just as much back the amount of charities he has given to, his love to help sick sick children, this guy has an amazing heart. Michael's song's are just amazing from Pop to RnB this man is very musically talented, as  Dancer Michael was extremely disciplined and expected his backing dancer's to be the same, he would rehearse for hours to just get a movement or a sequence of moves right. I think that him always wanting to be the best and would always work hard to get there makes me want to strive to be the best, he makes me want to learn every dance style going to a professional level i would have loved to have been one of his backing dancers learning the amazing choreography that he had done himself, I did have a concert ticket for Michael Jackson's This Is It Tour and I am deeply saddened at the fact that I can no longer go. I am very upset that such talent has gone because if he was still here I know that he would still be great because talent like that cannot just simply disappear. Although Michael is no longer with us his music and dances still live on today and probably for generation's still to come as this is what makes him a legend.!!!!!!!!
